Mj Simple Installation Guide

To install Mj Simple Template package, you need Joomla 2.5

You can setup template using 2 ways:

  1. Mj-Simple - Quick_start Installation
  2. Mj-Simple template installation (For Existing joomla setup)
  • Download Mj-Simple_Package.zip from 'My Download' area.
  1. Steps for Mj-Simple - Quick_start Installation:
    1. Unzip the mj-Simple_Package.zip file and find the Quick_start.zip and unzip it
    2. Upload the Quick_start folder on server via FTP or CPanel
    3. Start installation by typing your URL to the directory you have placed Quick_start files. The installation page should be appeared as normal Joomla! installation
      (Ex: localhost/ [directory name] /installation/index.php or domain name/ [directory name] /installation/index.php)

      img Add server hostname (Ex: localhost)

      img Add username and password of host

      img Add database name (Ex: mj_simple)

      img Add site name

      img Add administrator email address

      img Add username and password (Ex: admin / admin)

      img Select Default English (GB) Sample Data and click on Install Sample Data

      img Remove installation folder

    4. Login into your administrator panel using username and password you have given (Ex: admin / admin)
    5. Change password with User Manager (Site - User Manager)

    6. Set all directory permission to 755 and files permission to 644 via Cpanel or FTP

  2. Steps for Mj-Simple template installation (For Existing joomla setup):
    1. Unzip the Mj-Simple_Package.zip file and find the theme.zip
    2. Login into your joomla administrator panel
    3. install theme.zip file from Extensions->Extension Manager
    4. Make Mj-Simple as a default template from Extensions-> Template Manager
    5. Install all Extensions from Extension.zip
      • mod_news_pro_gk4_for_responsive_templates - (set position "mj-position6" )
      • plugin_googlemap_J25.2.17
      • tabber-v2.1.3-pro
      • widgetkit_j25

      NOTE: After installation don't forget to enable them
